About Stephen
I am Stephen Simpson.
I help organisations and autistic people navigate the experience of neurodivergence with clarity, understanding, and respect.
My approach is grounded in genuine, honest information that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual, team, or organisation I work with. I believe that neurodivergence is best understood through real experiences, practical knowledge, and meaningful conversations rather than stereotypes or oversimplified symbols.
Every person and every workplace is different, which is why I provide bespoke guidance designed to meet your specific circumstances and goals. Whether supporting autistic individuals in understanding their strengths and challenges or helping organisations build more inclusive, supportive environments, I focus on creating solutions that are authentic, realistic, and effective.
My aim is to bridge gaps in understanding, encourage confidence, and promote positive change. By offering clear, personalised insights, I help people and organisations develop a deeper appreciation of neurodivergence and the value that diverse ways of thinking bring to our communities and workplaces.

Pre- and post-diagnostic support
Support doesn't have to wait for a diagnosis, and it doesn't stop once you have one. We meet you wherever you are in the journey, with practical, identity-affirming guidance and no medical jargon.
Before a diagnosis
- Making sense of sensory, communication, and emotional experiences while you wait
- Early understanding and self-acceptance, without needing a label first
- Practical strategies for daily life, and help preparing for assessments
After a diagnosis
- Time and space to process what the diagnosis means for you
- Building confidence, self-advocacy, and practical next steps
- Support for the wider family, so everyone understands what's changed and what hasn't

The checklist I use when I walk into any environment.
A structured assessment tool for any space - a GP waiting room, a school, a workplace, a leisure centre. Work through it yourself or share it with whoever is responsible for the space. It covers sensory factors, communication, escape routes and awareness - with clear questions and space to note what needs to change.

From clients
What shifts, in their words.
"Stephen reframed sensory adjustments from a SEND problem into a whole-school design question. Our morning anxiety incidents dropped within six weeks."
"The clearest, least-jargony autism training our team has ever had."
"The environment audit gave us a plan, not a lecture. Costed, prioritised, and written for the people who'd actually do the work, not a deck for senior management."
